someone who stretches the truth to his/her advantage
e.g., a golfing guy who brags of his score of 103 (which is lousy really) but forgets to add that he plays putt-putt golf only. LOL |

Probably someone who by leaving out a word or sentence makes a true statement e.g. You go to your friend's house and ask if you can borrow P500 and the answer is "Sorry I have no money on me" and shows you the wallet/purse but fails to state that he/she has P2000 in the bedroom. |

An honest liar? One who tells lies to save the skin of a client...take a lawyer, for instance. Lawyers are great liars. They lie to defend, to prove the innocence of their clients or, to produce witnesses who likewise lie to send someone to jail for a crime he may or may not have perpetrated.
My father was a lawyer, I am a barrister. Does that make me and my father honest liars? |
