Well Blue, I have to disagree with most people that math is the harder one. Math skills you just learn. Poor grammar you have to unlearn and then replace it with the good one.
Both Chinese and Tagalog have problems with different formalized laws of grammar. That, for example, is why my wife uses "to" when she should be using from, about, or nothing at all. Another example is mentioning his husband or her wife. |

it depends on the person.
numbers have always been my waterloo. i have hated math since i was in my elementary years and i really won't love it even if my life depends on it...
i know someone though who really can't make a grammatically correct essay to save his life. he's been to countless workshops and still his subject verb agreement will alert the grammar police to apprehend him...
i guess each person has different strengths and weaknesses and we just have to work on what we got. |

Math is easier, if you're considering this on a large scale. Mathematics are the same in every language and culture. Grammar is dependent on the language you speak. |

Poor grammar. |

Depends on the math skill you're trying to overcome. Counting and basic math much easier than grammar. Whe you get in to calculas, trigonometry, and the likes, i'd say grammar.
Eric...spelling counts. |

Poor maths skill. You can memorise formulas to help in maths, but grammar is based on sentence and logic and inference. Much too technical than maths. |

If you are a person who loves talking - poor grammar.
But if you are a person who loves math, there's a great chance you can overcome poor math skills. |

Poor grammar. Grammar is basic and is learned in early education and language used at home.
While math skills can be reviewed and improved even later in life. |

Poor grammar. One can always learn proper grammar. With math, you need special skills and heart to master it. |

Math follows a universal rule regardless of your age, culture and other demographics... Hence, it is easy to progress provided one exposes himself/herself to the subject... Mastery of grammar on the other hand is somwhat biased... Although it follows a certain rule, that rule applies only for that language... So in a scenario wherein one would have to use several languages, it tends to confuse...
In addition, a person communicating in numbers cannot provide the information to the other person unless both are on the same aptitude... With regards grammar, there would always be the sign language and symbols in case one has a problem communicating with another... So there is a greater tendency for one not to work on improving grammar... |

Poor grammar definitely (it's grammAr not grammEr). Btw, poor grammar/math skills can both be improved it's just that I believe that poor grammar is easier to overcome coz the means to improve on it/master it are available anywhere... you master it by reading (newspapers, magazines, books), speaking (talking to friends, peers, family), writing (blogs, articles, school paper, etc). Unlike math, you really need to devote time to study it and there are only a few ways to practice/apply it. |

Poor Grammar because you can apply it every time you speak and work on getting it right. |

you can 'overcome' both pretty easy if all you want is solving 1+2 and speak with your dog... (funny examples i know:)
but you can master everything with some hard work.
My answer: both are hard and easy just the same... |
