Dude, from my experiences with Filipino women, as long as
you have money, and an American, that's all they need to know. It's like flys on stink. That's all they want, to get out of the Philippines and become an American wife. Then send for the rest of their family to come and live in your house. Next thing you, know you have her whole family living with you.
I'm half Filipino and won't even consider having a wife from the Philippines. My family tried setting me up once, when I found out what they were trying to do, I told them they were crazy and if they ever tried doing that again I would never speak to them. They never did that again.

Responsible, honest, genuine and understanding man, Actually it so easy to atrract a Filipina girl and your definitely right that most filipina dream of having a marriage for a lifetime actually some husband mistreated women here and it is really bad. they still stay cause they value there child and marriage as long as you have true intention to a Filipina that you are going to marry or have a relationship with you must treat her well. that is all i can say. Age does matter to as far as I know so for that range you give Woman here like guys who are older than them but not that too much like up to 30 it is my opinion only to me. Want to have a date? "JOKE" For the last question there are some concerns in marrying a western guy mainly the culture or there daughter might be far away from them. Besides there's a saying "that you having hard time dealing with a Filipino guy what's more with a western guy that has a different values in life".

A humble, caring, nice guy. Some Filipino parents dictates who to marry but not to worry as all they care is for their daughter to be safe. As long as they are being taking care of (not beaten, etc.). If they ask for more, then, I wouldn't marry their daughter if I were you.

It is just unfortunate that there is so much cynicsm to the trend of Filipinas wanting to marry Caucasians or foreigners (caucasian or not). Taking the veiwpoint of some guys here, Filipinas are only after the money. The truth is, money is just the tip of the iceberg. Filipinas in general want marital stability and fullfillment between her and the husband and her family. What is wrong with having an ambition to marry a well suited man and at the same time help her family as well? Strong kinship bonds have enabled poor and struggling families to withstand difficult times, and in my view, this is one of the best things that happen to Filipinos.

Except for the scrupulous few, Filipinas want a happy, love filled, and prosperous life with a Caucasian. Aside from your good qualities (I am sure you have plenty, the way you phrase your question) take an extra mile to appreciate and understand the culture so that you would not fall into the pit of cynism. You will be rewarded with loyalty, love and devotion from your Filipina wife.

first of all, you seem like a really sincere guy with good intentions. maybe you should also consider your side of the story - what you really want & what you're willing to settle for.

second, i think most women forget this or take it for granted, but its important to be on the same wave length in the 'sense of humor' aspect. coz its easy to impress Filipino women but you better have something significant to say after the first few minutes if you want them to see beyond the green money.

third, forget the cliches and treat her like a real lady. contrary to popular belief, chivalry is still most appreciated.
