Westvleteran Abt 12........ok get this its Brewed in Belgium by Catholic Monistary Monks! Ratebeer.com and I forget the other one rate it as the best in the world........I myself managed to obtain this beer and drink it.........I was in Vegas, I drank this beer and it was amazing......I had to gamble.....All my numbers were hitting at craps.......then I drank another beer any I started loosing......its 10.2% alcohol, really dark, almost taste like wine but when you drink it you know its beer. Pretty smooth, very intoxicating. It is a B****h to find though good luck!

To answer this Q somebody should travel the whole world in search for the best beer... but for us Pinoys our local beer is the best. San Miguel Beer is the most famous beer in the Philippines, I think. <*-*>

I'm not a beer drinker, but my husband is and he loves Anchor Steam Porter, Sam Adams Octoberfest, Sam Adams Honey Porter, a Czech Beer that I can't pronounce or spell but that we can buy locally. He also makes his own beer from time to time. I tell him he's a beer snob! LOL

I lived in Germany for 18 months, and believe me, nothing beats German beer, the Pils company is to beer what the Yankees are to baseball. Double Bock was my favorite, with Vison a close second.
