If it's yourself - Nothing really seeing how you already pissed off God if your a believer.
If it's someone else, and your a believer - Pray for their soul.
Otherwise get some counciling - Actually in both cases get some counciling.

If it is your own and you are successful, you won't be doing anything after.
If it is someone else's, this is much harder. Look up the stages of grief, realize it is not your fault the person made the choice themselves based on their own brain chemistry.

anyway ... the best thing to do after suicide is make an application to enter heaven ... so you can delay entering hell.
Make sure you appeal until the Supreme tribunal ... by then i will save that guy ... and send him/her to heaven ... hahaha ... [Oh Lord! forgive me ... ]

Best thing? You may not have a choice. If you have an entity beyond material, you'd probably float aimlessly in the vastness of eternity among the comet dust. Or you'll probably end up stuck on earth residing in someone's septic tank.

After an attempt that failed or after first getting suicidal tendancies?
No matter which way it is, the one who is suicidal needs helps coping with the issues that have brought him/her to feel that ending it all was the only answer. There are many churches that will be able to point you to counseling. Visiting your Doctor is another good place to start. They can prescibe a medication that evens your moods so you aren't so excitable until you can line up some counseling.
I do hope that if the considering suicide wants help that they can stop and consider getting help. Problems are temporary and do go away. Suicide doesn't. If you feel you can't talk to anyone, you can talk to me. I'm be happy to talk with you.
