Here's my top rainy day itinerary:

1. Take a quick shower in the rain - stand right down the roof drain. [ OK, NOT USUALLY DONE BY ADULTS =D ]
2. Read a book.
3. Watch TV and flip channels, watch movie.
4. Read, YAP, watch videos, research on the internet.
5. Play pc games.
6. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Nothing beats curling up in bed with thick blankets. =)
7. Sing songs (in my horrible singing voice) and make it rain more!
8. Gather around cousins and tell scary stories.
9. Play on PS2 or my PSP. I suck with these gadgets so it frustrates me the more and it does take up my time.

if you fancy eating:

cooking chicken noodle soup, macaroni soup ("sopas"). the spicier and tastier, the better. try also porridge ("champorado" - filipino delicacy made from a mixture of local cocoa balls, sugar as sweetener and rice).

these give warmth in the cold weather. enjoy it by sharing with the family or friends

if you're the drinking kind:

having a good bottle at hand (either brandy, gin, vodka, whsikey.... or any type of wine that would also keep us a little warm). a shot and exchange of stories with family and friends won't keep me bored during a typhoon.

@ home raining on day time, try to check around the house if there are unsealed or leakages of water especially at roof which cause serious damage in your house.

@ home raining at night time, prepare a nice dinner then proceed to bedroom & plug any hole as you like to plug to protect leaking and good luck...............
