Philippines a tropical country, so if you worry about the weather:

March to May - summer, hot ; best time to go to Boracay, Palawan beaches and to observe different town Fiestas
June to September- is quite rainy in the capital Manila but you may still visit other cities in the south
December to February - best time to visit, celebrate Christmas and New Year festively. Filipinos have a long celebration of the Christmas season, it starts as early as September. It is really a MERRY celebration there.

well i think during the summer its rainy season...and i think the end of may or something too. umm....well when i went there i went during the winter which the weather is nicer it didnt rain at all the 2 weeks i stayed there.

anytime. but you'll have a blast during the yuletide season. don't believe the press too much. the philippines is safer than nighttime in new york, chicago, or l.a. have fun - almost everybody speaks english.

Go during the summer months-- march april or may. There are also lots of festivals in May if you're into those.

depends on where you want to go. but try to avoid the storm season, which is around july, august, september.

Since you're going to travel in April, be sure to check out Bohol, Boracay, Puerto Galera, Palawan.

april to may is good because of summer vacation in the philippines. summer destinations such as beaches and cooler places are full of people during this time.

june is the start of rainy season and you can enjoy places almost by yourself because locals are back to school or work. october to february is cool due to cooler climate.

I think you're getting the picture from all the answers. There are constantly Fiesta's going on around the country. Almost every community, especially in the provinces, has a annual fiesta.

The beaches are beautiful year round.
