I think the most important organ is our heart. This is because it is major organ that helps in the blood circulation of an organism.

There are no unimportant organs. Of about 20 the lack of that organ would cause death. lack of the brain is instant death, lack of the heart, about 5 minutes. The liver probably does the most different operations, and lack of a liver will kill you in a few hours.

I heard a story. In this story all the organs had a meeting and didn't inform "The anus". So the anus was very angry and stop working. After a few days all the organs was toxicated. So all the organ agree that Anus is the most important part of the body.

Each and every organ can claim to be the most important. However, if the question has to be answered, I would say, the skin (it is the biggest organ in the body)-for the reason that it is the first protection barrier...

Granted that organs like the heart, brain, lungs keep the body alive, they can be replaced with artificial ones...with the body alive even if the brain is "dead". However, if there is no skin, the body will succumb to infections very quickly...
