I am very transparent...I laugh when I feel like laughing. I dont just laugh...I LAUGH OUT LOUD!!!=D

I am not using it as a cover for some of my shortcomings. Some thinks that happy people create a 'joyful facade' to cover up their flaws. But there are some that naturally have a Happy Disposition.

Some take things lightly and enjoy every precious moments they have. What is there not to NOT laugh about anyway? Enjoy....life is too short to be spent from frowning.

On the other side of my laughter... Sometimes when I am laughing, I am not necessarily laughing at what people assume that I am laughing at. Sometimes I am just laughing at what I honestly think about them or it could be I wasn't even paying attention and I was thinking about something completely different.

You may be right. But you will notice the difference -- if you are genuinely happy -- you will laugh out loud or smile like normal people do.

However, if you are trying to hide your depression, your laugh or smile will seem to be out of proportion. It may be too excessive or too fake -- and believe you me -- people will really notice and start asking -- what's wrong with him/her or is he/she okay?

Moral lesson -- Just be true to your feelings. Do not pretend to be happy when you are not.

It's like I'm laughing at myself for worrying about little things that shouldn't affect me. I always know that I can pass this problem but I feel like crying about it. So I end up Laughing more than Crying most of the time. LOLZ!!

Melancholy...and the feeling of emptiness.

"There is melancholy in the wind and sorrow in the grass" (Charles Kuralt). Even behind some of my laughter lurks the feeling of sadness...sometimes inexplicable and oftentimes triggered by memories of my dead parents who, after all these years, I am still missing a lot.

I have heard of people using laughter in sarcasm, in pain, and in frustration..but personally, i cannot laugh when i'm hurt or when i'm sad ,.well i can smile, and feign or mock a laughter - but in order to genuinely laugh? I need to be truly happy.
