What is this white stuff growing round the fruit of my "atis" tree?

Is this abortive snow cuz I always made this tree my outdoor Christmas tree? A materialization of my desire to see snow?

"Atis" is sugar apple. Anonna squamosa, scientific name.
Additional Details
Mr. Drake,

I beg your indulgence. My most sincere apologies. I really thought Filipinos are the most brilliant agriculturists, and will know. Other than Papa Chuck, of course. And then again, travelers might see this white stuff, and mistake them for snow. Better correct that impression.

It isn't Aphids at all. It's pieces of the 'custard apple' from the higher branches. Remember the bat your saw circling your Atis tree last night and everyone told you it was after the insects, everyone except me that is. It attacked the fruit on the higher branches and at the same time dropped a lot of the fruit flesh.

Either of these: aphids or honeydew from mealybugs. No, they can't be snow. White sand maybe.

Yes, that's Aphids. As I have said, we have an Atis tree by our porch. Very fertile and casts off it's rotted fruit and dead leaves. Told ya as well, makes good alternative to MJ. I've so long wondered why it hadn't caught trend. Heavenly Atis =)

Yes they are aphids, the metaphorical equivalent of the angst that ominously envelopes people, and like aphids infesting and feasting with delight on "atis" fruits, the anguish gnaws relentlessly without mercy into people. I think most everyone have aphids in their "atis" fruits at some point in time.

It's called Aphids. Be careful. Too much aphids will kill your tree. Spray some chemicals that will destroy your imaginary "snow" at once before it is too late. Remember, December is fast approaching, you might not have any branch lest twigs remaining on your "Christmas" tree.
