The Temporal Void by Peter F. Hamilton. I would never have spent so much getting a book shipped from the UK to the US unless I really liked the author.
If you're a fan of Sci-fi then Hamilton is one of the best in my opinion. His books are long, but that isn't exactly a bad thing for me since I read through all 750 pages of the Temporal Void in just 5 days. I am actually re-reading his Nights Dawn Trilogy right now which comes out to around 3800 pages in total... that one might take me a while. :) |

as a kid, i loved reading Enid Blyton and Ann M. Martin books followed by Beverly Cleary and Judy Blume.
and i don't think there was a girl of the 80s who did not go through the Sweet Dreams and Sweet Valley High phase :)
Also went through the Judith McNaught phase whose genre was pretty risque.
Currently there's not just one author and one book that I like. However, there is this one book that always comes to mind.THE SILVER SWORD by Ian Serraillier. It was my 5th maybe 6th grade Literature book. Will never forget this book, it was so heart-wrenching. |

do you consider comic books as a "book"? if so...then probably the W.I.T.C.H (will, irma, taranee, cornelia, and haylin) is my favorite book, don't know the author, created by disney. and it has a novel book now. but i prefer the comic. |

...Those books just crushed my heart and send me off crying. You would just re-think and re-assess how lucky you are in life. And applaud one's willingness to survive and the love that one can still give out even when hurt. And when I say HURT...this is big time hurt. Its abuse in every possible way.
