Now that I'm not there, everything is my favorite!!! Gosh, I miss home very much - the people, the food, the traffic, the dirty politics, etc., etc....yeah, the good and the bad!
It's a blessing there are lots of good Pinoy restos here in Houston...otherwise, I'd be soooo starved for Pinoy food coz my sorry *** can't cook.

Adobo ko ang aking pinakafavorite!
I prefer 3:1:1 - vinegar:soy:dry sherry. Of course, I add crushed garlic & onion at all stages, pepperkorns, maybe bayleafs, thyme, and sage. Sometimes I use balsamic or other vinegars and sometimes I thicken the sauce at the end.
However, I still greatly treasure staight-up plain adobo!

yum i miss filo food ='( i loved FISH SINIGANG like the best, its like deliciousness as a soup..fish chunks..tamarind...u eat it and feel all refreshed in side...with rice too mmmmmmm hehe i also love ginamos..im not sure if thats how u spell it, at first i thought it was so weird like the smell and look of it..but then i got addicted to eating it with rice for breakfast while i was studying there. hehe |
