Midnight Blue (70's)
that reminds me of my first love, until now i can still feel that old feeling when ever i hear that song.
longing, wishing that one day we see each other again before I crossover, we loved each other so much, but fate made us apart and until now i don't if we ever can see each other again.
I see the lonely road that leads so far away,
I see the distant lights that left behind the day
But what I see is so much more than I can say
And I see you midnight blue.
I see you cryin' now you've found a lot of pain,
And what you're searchin' for can never be the same,
But what's the difference cos' they say what's in a name.
And I see you midnight blue.
I will love you tonight, and I will stay
By your side, lovin' you,I'm feelin' midnight blue.
I see you standing there far out along the way,
I want to touch you but the night becomes the day,
I count the words that I am never gonna say
And I see you midnight blue.
Can't you feel the love that I'm offering you,
Can't you see how it's meant to be,
Can't you hear the words that I'm saying to you,
Can't you believe like I believe,
It's only one and one it's true
Still I see you midnight blue.
I see beautiful days and I feel beautiful ways
Of loving you, everything's midnight blue. |

also, hearing the song, "my favorite mistake" by sheryl crow transports me back to that time when love is bittersweet.

the song that makes me so sentimental is this:
Oh! inay |

I am a sentimental old fool. The song "Someone To Watch Over Me" always gets me whenever I hear it being played or sung. It is a very lovely song. I can never get enough with just listening to it once or twice. Sometimes I make a request of that song over the radio.
The funny thing is, that song doesn't even remind me of a beautiful past. I just love its lyrics and tune. |

Mine would be Love Moves in Mysterious Ways (Nina's version) - not to be mushy or something. It's just that the song was all around the air when my husband and I started going out and until it officially became "us".
Most importantly, in our love story, love did move in mysterious, magical ways. |

BRother Louie...LOL.Don't laugh but that's true..I was 5 years old when this song reign. The front of the house of my grandparents [where I grow up] is the social hall and basketball court of their Baranggay...during that year[1987] disco was not fun yet but ''baylihan'' was the best!
I always hear this song played there and whenever i heard it.. I ran towards the terrace and look at the people and there was this teenager who always go to the dance floor when this song is played ..... first time I feel something strange..yeah my first crush!so until now when I heard this song..it doesn't just make me smile but my heart jump still.cute!!!! |

The melody is just amazing and the lyrics are an added delight :) It doesn't make me cry or anything, but it's a song I can reminisce with. |

sun and moon- from miss saigon sung by lea salonga, touches the heart
