Asia's geography is unique like the rest of the continents.

Asia is rich in resources, rich culture, etc. The countries in Asia are not connected; some of them are archipelagos, like Japan, Philippines, etc. I don't think that other continents have as much archipelagos as Asia.

~~ Roberto Basil "Bobby" E. Cruz.

Asian Geography may be unique in several ways:

1. It has a rich history, and holds a lot of stories/secrets.

2. Since most of the countries are adjacent, there are possibilities of similarities in language or culture.

3. It has a systematic grouping: South, Central, Southwest, East, and Southeast Asia.

4. It is the largest continent.

5. In relation to number four, it has the biggest landmass of all. Asia was the biggest result of the breaking apart of the supercontinent Pangea

6. Bodies of water like seas can be found within it, and it is surrounded by several oceans.

Asia: The continent which knows no bounds.
One of its key geographic features is its immense size. Being the largest continent on earth means its bound to have some odd features that are not found anywhere else. Its diversity is unparalleled. Most notably being home to the Himalayan mountains, Asia has countless key landmarks. Ranging from the frozen Arctic wastes, to the searing desert.

Therefore, I believe that its uniqueness lies in its immense range of characteristics.

Asian Geography is very unique because it has the highest peaks(Mt.Everest) and the deepest trenches(Mariana's Trench)

Asia's geography is so unique because, it is the largest continent in the world. Each part of Asia has different culture, religion and so on..
You can locate the tallest mountains in Asia
Asia is bounded on three sides by oceans: Arctic, Pacific, Indian
Deserts are also a feature of Asia
Asia’s soils are related mainly to climate and vegetation.
Those are some reasons that make Asia's geography unique

daniel Purganan
it is unique because...

1. it is the largest and most populated continent

2. it's very rich in different cultures, traditions and religion

3. a lot of great places to see

4. and a lot of natural resources can be found here.

Luigi Serafico
In my opinion, Asia's Geography is indeed very unique/special. Why?

First of all, out of the seven continents, it is the largest. With an estimated total area of 45 million square kilometers, it covers about 30% of the earth's land mass.

Second, it is surrounded by 3 Oceans, Arctic ocean on the north, Pacific Ocean on the east, and the Indian Ocean near the south.

These oceans and other bodies of water surrounding Asia are the causes of different climates of the continent. For example, a country near the ocean would have a rainy climate because of the moisture in the air brought about by winds coming from these oceans.

Asia also has the highest and deepest parts of the world. Mount Everest, with a height of about 8km above sea level, is the highest peak on Earth while the Marianas trench serves as the lowest point on Earth with a depth of approximately 11km below sea level.

Asia also has a lot of scenic places and tourist spots that many people are attracted to. Just like our very own Mayon Volcano which is well-known for its perfect cone-shaped body
and also the rice terraces that was once part of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Not only that, Asia also has tons of natural resources ranging from agricultural resources, fishing products, minerals and, now, also human resources.

And speaking of its inhabitants, the people here also have very special and interesting cultures, languages and dialects. They have different religions and forms of government.

Asia is so unique already considering its immense size, it is the largest continent. In a land mass such as this it is very rich in resources, a variety of cultures, religions and peoples. Another to mention is the very beautiful historical background of this continent. Looking at the cultures and people of the continent, they always seem to intertwine. The people all have a connection may it be physical characteristics, culture, or religion. Dozens of landmarks make Asia very unique. The Himalayas for instance, The very popular Rice Terraces in the Philippines, the Great Wall of China. Quite a lot of the mysteries of the world. Asia flourishes with so much history of how the the world developed through the years. The things that I have said is probably just a tiny fraction behind the uniqueness of this great continent. A lot has been known about Asia already, just expect more of that to come in the years to come.

Asian Geography is very unique because

1. It is GIGANTIC

2. Asia is very diverse in everything(culture, natural resources etc.). All because of its geography

3.Climate can differ in parts of Asia.

According to what I know and what I think, Asia's geography is not all the massive land and enormous amount of water, but I admit, it is a huge factor. But the fact that within these territories lie amazing cultures that started way back in the olden times. I am really mesmirized because until now, they still have these cultures and traits. What I admire most about the people in Asia is their humility. In my opinion, being humble is our trademark as Asians.

It is unique because of the unusual and different shapes of the countries. It is a very large continent which mostly contains lands that are surrounded by water.

I believe that Asian Geography is so unique because of its very rich culture and its very unique and special people. Asian Geography is unique because not only the land itself is very important but most importantly the people who inhabit the land because they are the ones who enrich the land and make it their own. I believe as seen in all of the countries and lands of today that there are Asians everywhere. Because of this the other people in the world would usually adapt to these Asian cultures and so each country has a part of Asia in them thus making us very unique because the other countries seem to enjoy the Asian cultures. In short Asians very friendly people and influence other a lot!

Ruel Katigbak
I believe that asian geography is so special and unique because of its land mass(29.4% of Earth's land area) and population (approx. 4 Billion) which are the largest among the continents, its very rich culture, religion and beliefs, diverse natural resources(forests, marine life, oil, etc.) , the bodies of water in it(3 oceans surrounding it, the huge lakes and seas) , the wonderful places and tourists spots , and especially the hard working people. Asia is very unique most importantly because of its size. Different countries are in the Asian territory and this means that there is a variety in culture, huge amount of resources and rich history. Each country has a unique lifestyle, unique traditions and beliefs. The size of Asia means that it is really broad, therefore the climate in one area is different in the other. Since Asia takes up 60% of the population of the world, and there are different lifestyles for each type of person then Asia is very "colorful".

pao apoloni
It is made up of a lot of countries and have different cultures, religions and beliefs. It is unique because the people of Asia didn't come from just one origin.

francis flameno
Asian geography is different from others because:

1.) Asia is the largest continent among the 7 continents of the world.

2.) It is in Asia you will find the primary source of oil (west asia)

3.) Because of Asia's wide territory, asia is divided into 5 regions.

4.) Asia consists of many cultures, religions, traditions, politics, etc. because of the wide territory of Asia.

5.) We have different climates in Asia.

6.) Asia has the highest elavation of any continent which is 950m ( 3,117 ft).

7.) The plateau and mountain broadly sweep SW-NW across Asia, the climax of which is the Tibetan plateau and its highest peak is the Himalayas.

8.) More than half of the world's overall population is in Asia.

9.) It is in Asia where the remains of early humans were found.

10.) It is also in Asia where we can find the oldest Neolothic cities.

11.) Great religions and philosophies came from Asia.

12.) We can find many islands scattered in South East Asia.

Asian Geography is so unique because it has a lot of characteristics to be proud of. Out of the 7 continents it's the largest continent in the whole world with over 4 billion people.

My thought of the uniqueness of the Asia is that it has a lot of Mythology for the fact that India was there. We have a lot of countries bound within us that can actually influence us and especially Religion

I believe asian geography is unique since among all seven continents, it is the largest. Different land forms like mountains, deserts and archipelagos can be spotted all around the continent. Asia is also surrounded by vast waters such as seas and oceans. Behind these features lie many cultures and traditions that started from long time ago.

2. It is the largest continent out of the 7.
3. Asia is a cultural continent with many different cultures and people.
4. It is also surrounded by 3 of the 4 oceans in the world.
5. There are 53 countries in Asia.

Asia is unique 'cause of, number one, it's size. It's really huge compared to other continents. Second, it's very rich in natural resources. It is also home to many beautiful places and tourist spots like the great wall of china, which happens to be one of the new 7 wonders of the world. Asia is also known for its culture and people.

Asia is unique!

Asia has the largest landmass which makes it home to 60% population of the world. The powers that be have started defining Asia subcontinents, therefore the categories, South East Asia, South West Asia, Central Asia, etc.. Asia has a very rich culture and influence. The peoples of Asia are more diverse than those of any other continent, and they are highly concentrated in a small proportion of the total area, chiefly in southern and eastern Asia. Asia fostered all the principal religions of the world and many minor ones as well. As a whole, the continent of Asia enters into world trade to a greater degree than either Africa or South America.

P.S. Isha and traveler, this question is directed by our teacher to us, her students :-)
Thanks for the thoughts though =)

Asia's geography is unique because it has a huge variation of land masses and each country has its own culture, way of living, origin and history.

Asian geography is so unique because, one it has the biggest landmass among all the seven continents. It can hold half of the world's population. Also most of the natural resources needed in the world are found here. Under its geography, holds the origin or cradle of civilization. Its land holds a diversity of ethnic culture. It is also important to study asian geography in order to fully understand historical events and cultural developments. Finally, asian geography is so unique because it is the only landmass that change culturally and physically and holds a lot of mystery about the history of the world and its development.

Asian Geography is unique because it has a very diverse variety of landforms, seaforms and conditions raging from the tallest mountains to the deepest oceans or the hottest deserts to the saltiest seas and the coldest permafrost and all the wildlife that can be found in all of it. Also it is very rich in all it's natural resources like it's oil, and has many cultures and civilizations all spread out throughout the continent. The most extreme conditions, the most amazing places, the most diverse cultures, all in one large continent we all know as Asia.

Confused Kid
It is because unlike other continents, Asia has a huge variety of cultures, religions and historical locations. It covers 8.6% of Earth's total surface area with a population of over 4 billion people. Asia is also surrounded by bodies of water such as the Pacific Ocean on the east, Indian Ocean by the south and the Arctic Ocean by the North. Asia also has a very rich history and historical people who may have changed the world. Some Asian countries are not connected, examples of these are countries around the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan etc. which some are considered to be archipelagos.

Some of the info came from a very common source below
