but i do smile at the most improbably events, for eg:
seeing an old couple walk and hold hands on the street
seeing a nice cute puppy
seeing babies smile and laugh

The simple things of life, the little things...

A kind thought, a hand squeeze, a shoulder rub,
a hot, steaming cup of coffee, a heartfelt compliment,
a kiss, a meaningful gaze,
when someone asks "how are you" and actually stay to listen to you gripe, etc....
