Be a responsible citizen of th country.
The blame is not only to be passed in one person. What you should do is to think what you could contribute for the country. Stop complaining that we suffer poverty because of this and that. We are responsible for what we are.
Filipino youth should finish their education before going to early marriages or unexpected pregnancy. Its the best you can give to the country to move out of poverty. If you had a job, you can feed your family, give them the highest education they deserve. And make them a better person. So that from generation to generation, Philippines will move forward, not because of what it is now but because of how we make it to be. |

Ms. Flappy is right.
Filipinos should do something about its rapidly growing population. Basic economics- we have scarce resources, globally, and humans have unlimited wants/needs.
The government should focus more their inreventions on the poor. There are just too many hungry Filipinos, why some LGUs could still afford to conduct 'community beautification' projects such as these sidewalks/public parking areas renovation?!
Our leaders should stop 'politicizing' everything i.e. making every move for political reasons e.g. doing this project to gain would-be voters even the project is not a priority need of the community.
Ultimately, improvement should come from within and should start from ourselves and start with the greatest virtue - self-discipline. The youth should start practicing/establishing this trait so that they are equipped when they face the 'real world' of a corrupt system. |

back to basics. if we cant afford new clothes maybe we can sew it. instead of buying, we can grow our own veggie garden. if we can repair it, we should do it ourselves instead of buying new stuff. |

Learn to vote with their heads and then hold all politicians and those with authority accountable for their actions.
Once the political and authoritative scene has been cleansed then all can concentrate on all the other ills that have beset the Philippines. |

Political will. Without commitment & accountability from its leaders, the nation will just be going through the motions in no particular direction. |

Philippines will always be perpetually poor as long as the population is not controlled. There is just too much people and the economy can't support all. Too many college graduates fighting for the same job and more than 2000 babies are born each day. Adding to the problem is the Catholic church that heavily discourage any government family planning programs. |

kids should have new role models not actors or celebs who turn to politics. kids should respect the working class no matter how low paying the job as long as working. if kids have respect for all jobs they are willing to work any job when they grow up. people with work can escape poverty. |

first, acknowledge you are not WORLD CLASS, that you are in fact living in a 3rd world country.
second, admit that your christian religion is false and it has not helped you as a society.
third, your overall values are way to the right. you all must move to the middle.
once you all recognize your faults, then and only then can your society move forward into the 21st century (and no, just because some of you have the latest cellphone model doesn't qualify your people as modern---sorry!). |
