In the sea are sharks, sea snakes and jelly fish. The blue ringed octopus and the worlds only poisonous cuttlefish can be found in the area as well.

On land the snakes are the principal danger. Cobras are aggressive and shouldn't be approached. There are poisonous spiders but only one species is considered to pose a risk to life.

The Philipines has it's own species of crocodile

The Philippine Eagle is impressive. It grows to 1m tall with a wingspan of 2m.

The most poisonous animal in the Philippines is the Philippine Cobra (Ulupong), easy to locate, she's at Malakanyang. Her poison turned the Philippines to below poverty line.

The most dangerous animal in the Philippines is the Philippine Crocodile (Buwaya). Most were found in the streets taking some bribes like Policeman and Traffic Enforcers. There were also Buwayas in the Congress waiting for a slice of the Pork Barrel. Senate has some waiting for some kickbacks. Never wory about the Jeepney Buwaya, they can't harm you.

Not just your regular spectacled Cobra, But spitting cobra's, mamba's, vipers.
Also venomous spiders, what's out!

You probably won't see much, until you are on the edges of a forest/clearing.

Matter of fact, I got my 6ft. spitting cobra in my back yard.

There are a few snakes around Mabini.

Seriously, apart from the Cobra they also have a species of Krait which are nasty.

Some big *** apiders I saw on an Island near Cebu and a few other jungle nasties like Spiders, Leeches and ticks.

Yes, aside from man, there aren't many animals to be scared of in the Philippines.

Although, the country have its share of poisonous snakes, but I bellieve not that many species & not that many, almost none in thickly populated areas.

There are a few species of poisonous insects, rabid small mammals & crocodiles. But of course there have been many exotic animals being smuggled into the country that aren't endemic but some might be really dangerous as well.
