What prompts you to stand each time you fall?

I never did like the taste of dirt. Too bad it can't be helped - this falling down thing. But still each time I do, I stand up promptly, dust myself and try again. And hopefully the next time I fall, it wouldn't be as close to the ground as the previous episode. I'd like to believe my learning curve is always improving.

Usually after a period of time out and tears the want and need of something better and the need to smile again.I kick start this with lively music to bring my mood up its hard to stay down with the musics got you jiggling.

Usually when I fall, my brother is a few steps ahead so I need to get back up to beat him... (This could be taken literaly or figuratively)

my mom taught me to stand up right away after every fall. and she said it is okay to cry if its really painful. when the pain is gone, stop crying and look back to the spot where i fell and walk forwards. i asked her why and she told me "so you will remember what to do the next time you are in the same spot again."

So whatever you are doing trust in the Lord even if you fall He will be there to pick you up. At this very point I myself am battling to start a business it seems as if there are roadblocks in every area. But the one thing I can be assured of is God is in the midst of everything and once the bumpy road clears is it going to be a smooth sail. God knows when your time is right for whatever the fall but He knows the plan He has for you, to prosper you and not to harm you.

Falling is apart of molding, shaping and maximizing our full potential. There is a proverb in the bible that mention failure before success.
There is always hope on the other side of failure.
I love to see a boxing Champion come back and win a fight after being knockdown several times. That's very inspiring when you apply that to the game of life.

Hard question. I don't exactly know why but maybe it's because I just don't want to end "there" after falling. I thrist for life, so much, that despite the difficulties, I can't let it win over me.

I think it's instinct that makes one stand up after a fall. And most are too proud to accept defeat or relish the thought that he has fallen from where he stood. The outcome would be to get up, brush the dirt from one's clothes, so to speak, and try one more time.

What prompts me to get up after a fall is the thought that I can better myself the next time. And like most people, I am too proud to see myself defeated, be it of my own foolishness or arrogance or, some other unforeseen factors that contributed to my fall. As they say, one never learns unless one experiences a hard fall.
