in response to Nie though, i like Filipino guys in the Philippines more than most of the ones who are born and raised here or moved here for a while now. Most young Filipinos here in the US think they're all pimpin' it and they worry more about image and material stuff more, yet they do not have much sense and regard for where they came from. Filipino guys from the Philippines are more mature (just in my opinion!) and they are not afraid to show you how they feel. they also value women a lot, which is a great plus!

When it comes to foreign guys though i like how they tell you things as it is, some can be very disrespectful to parents, though it would be wrong to generalize them. they are usually more spontaneous too and crazy. Overall, I just think it's hard to compare all these guys.. =)

Most of the Filipino guys WHO I KNOW are hard working, soft hearted, and like to drink Tanduay. However the vast majority that I observe, that I DON'T know like to sit around in the waiting shed, waiting for their wife's money to be sent, and they like to drink Tanduay. We call them "Vultures"

well, filipino guys have high respects for their girl's parents. unlike other foreign guys who face to face disrespects their girl's parents.(e.g. MTV's parental control show)

this is a common observation - a mama's boy and yet we blame them for being spoiled and weak! its the moms who spoil them.

thank goodness there are pinoys who do not submit to spoiling..
