Any time of the year will be the same season as in the US.
The weather in Japan during summer is much different than in the US.
It will be extremely hot and humid, and very uncomfortable in most locations, except Hokkaido, which will be comfortable temperature-
wise.
Summer in Japan has lots of rain, and is the season of typhoons. |

It would be the same as the US, becuase Japan is above the equator. |

Summer of course...
But you will arrive in the middle of the rain season (Tsuyu). (To be true, in the end).
Means, hot but not awful and humid, with lot and lot of rain.
Then if you stay for a long period (a few month) you will have really hot/humid weather. |

Above the equator - same season as the US.
Anything below the equator has the opposite season. |

how ignorant of you to ask a question like that. If you're visiting a country, why don't you study and research its history and a little bit of its language first?
That's what my grandma would say... |
