What sorts of things you do when you are desperate?

At times when I'm desperate, I always pray and call on to God. Sounds corny but when you pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance, you will receive answers in ways you don't expect. Also think of these 4 letters WWJD (what will Jesus do) all the time.

Kung nasa Pilipinas ka, sigurado akong nakaka-desperado talaga ng buhay. Lalo na kung wala kang makain, wala kang mapanood ng sine. Hindi ka man makabili ng Jollibee. Wala kang pambili ng bagong damit, pantalon at sapatos. Wala kang pang-gimik. Wala kang pang-toma...

Pero may pera ka, pag-gagamit ka ng Shabu...

Angel of God is of course right. There's no better way to fight desperation and no better person to turn to at times like this than God. However, since I am merely human, it is but normal for me to react to such circumstances in a humanly way. As such, when situations like this arise, I tend to push myself to the limits...I feel pathetic and so useless. Still, I thank the Lord for letting me experience such tribulations so that I can drew near to him. Let's face it, no matter how hard we try, we often fell short when it comes to God's standards and believe it or not, we often take HIM for granted. At least when we are desperate, we turn to him. We discover HIM in form of our friends and families.
Also, at times like this, I talk to myself, recalling all things past regretting and thinking of the what ifs and the what could have beens...geee! And what's better than turning to mom? Yeah, there's nothing like the feeling of being embraced by your mom whispering words of comfort in your ear. It just felt so good and of course, in order to cheer you up, your mother takes you shopping, buys you anything and lets you pig-out...lol...
