Try out the casinos on Roxas Blvd (they now have texas hold'em...all in baybeeee). Test your skills at cue games like billiards (if you're good, you'll enjoy the pick-up games but if you're bad, someone's bound to teach you some pool trick shots), drink San Mig beer from somewhere with a view of Manila bay and watch storms.

Why do so many people say "go to the malls"???? arghhhhhhh....hahah

there is nothing better than sipping a hot soup on a rainy weather. Try Sinigang, Tinola, Sinampalukan, Bolabase. Restaurants: Bario Fiesta, Cabalen, Aristocrat, Max's.

Weather here in Manila is improviing nowadays compared to the previous weeks that some streets do get flooded so no need to worry. Just in case you're stranded in a heavy downpour you just have to make the most out of where you are:
in Makati - plenty of restaurants and my favorite shopping area because it's safe and tourist friendly. Greenbelt 3 combines nature and shopping
in Manila - Baywalk (close by would be Mall of Asia - the biggest mall in Asia) & Malate for night out & dining
in Ortigas - again the malls and plenty of dining choices

but if I were to be stranded I'd rather that I'm in Greenbelt sipping tea or coffee of course nothing beats a warm cuddle at home in a cold weather. =)

Go to the mall (with a date or some friends), watch a movie , eat dinner then hang out at some bar or coffee shop at night (depends on your preference), wait for traffic to disappear. Then go home at around 11 pm to 2am (no traffic). It would be nice if all these are in the mall , like go to Greenbelt3, Glorietta or ATC or Festival Mall :-)

Or just sleep at home :-) Its cool and cozy

SHOPPING! or stay inside clean the house give the maid a break or go outside magtambay ka sa mga sarisari stores. go play outside in the rain, i don't know.

Are you tourist same as me? Normally I go to casino with minimal bet just to pass my time during rainy weather.....loll.

my favorite activity is playing in the rain. Watch kids sled down a steep road...If you want to stay dry go to your nearest mall and shop for souvenirs...local restaurants are a great deal Stay away from American chain restaurants like Fridays because their prices are expensive. If you like bars go to a karaoke bar and buy the hostesses drinks so they can hang out with you.

Basically NOTHING!!

Rainy Season in the Philippines is the worst season to go.

Think about it.. What are you gonna do?

When Its raining. Its usally flooded in the streets, 2nd power and water outage.. Alot of times.. So tell me.

Are you gonna enjoy that?

Going to the mall is the same thing that you can do anywhere..

Its like this is the 1st time you have been to a mall!!

Trust me.. Not recommended! plus Its the high season for traveling to the Philippines.

Recommended months is Summer time there like around March and its the low season to go there..
