I like bottle green and cream combination. The outer curtains in bottle green, the inner in cream. Looks regal at the same time refreshing to the eyes. It also goes well with cream-upholstered or covered sofas and mahogany/chocolate brown coffee tables. I would have chosen this color motif for my dream house however, my own place is quite small. |

it's gotta be sweet yellow and mellow rose. that would go so well with your colors, ms polly. and for the material, gotta be chantilly lace with the ribbon design. sooo feminine, soooo perfect for your pretty face. now lemme see you wiggle the walk and giggle the talk. hehehe....oh, nena wants a cracker too!!!!!!! |

Put a black drape on your cage and listen quietly on your surroundings. You will easily remember everything you've heard. |

A neutral color that compliments your existing furniture and blends with with color of walls in your home.
The key is to pick colors that make you feel good, and that coordinate with or compliment the other colors in your room. |

depends on the over all design/theme of your place, furnitures, window design, wall color, floor color, and cleaning issues. honestly, no one can tell if its good for your place or not with such little details.
Generally speaking, there should be NO OPPOSING COLORS:
http://www.cierracandles.com/images/HDColor33a.gif
just refer to the color wheel chart above.
If your trying to be safe, neutral colors like white, off white and beige will just go well with any color. or just go with one color palette scheme and play with its shades. you can't go wrong with this.
just some extras:
vintage: rich textures of red, golden yellow, gold, burnt sienna, ochre, and all velvety textures of color. all seem to go well with neutral colors like white, off white, ecru, and light beige.
country: neutral colors with any color
minimalist: strictly neutral colors or just blinds
ethnic: organic colors like moss green and brown, wood shades with wood shades. (i prefer bamboo blinds)
no theme at all?: match it with your furniture.
Color of furniture: provided that your wall paint color is neutral, the deeper the color of your furnitures are, the lighter the colors of your curtains should be.
like:
mostly neutral furnitures: any color of curtains may do
dark brown<wood> colors: neutral colors and on light on the shades of brown.
wall paint/ floor color:
neutral: any color of curtains may do
deep wall color: neutral |
