Filipinos and Europeans make a good couple... There are lots of foreigners, especially of white/caucasian descendants that have Filipino husbands/wives all over the Philippines (especially in highly-urbanized areas), so you won't be out-of-place when you visit in Manila...

It is very common nowadays that Filipino guys date/marry Caucasian girls. I am a mother and my son has a German girlfriend, makes me proud of it. It is this feeling: Wow, the girl has chosen my son who is dark, and with a flat nose, over blond, tall, blue-eyed, fair-skinned guys with pointed noses.

Filipinos are very open to multiracial relationships. If you'll know more about Filipinos, you can see we have a long history of having people with different ethnic backgrounds be a part of a Filipino family. When you come to the Philippines (which you said you would), you can encounter at least one member of the family married to a foreigner.

Most of the time, Filipinas (Filipino women) are married to foreigners. Some are married to Asian men (Japanese), some to caucasian (Americans) and many more.

If you are afraid of prejudices (from your BF's friends and family), it's natural and will eventually disappear with time. Cultural differences will have problems somewhat but I think Filipinos and Russians have lots in common and you'll be in "jive" in no time. :)

There are lots of couples just like you in the Philippines..Asian man and European women. We are the earth's largest Eurasian country. About 40% of all of us have some European ancestry.

From what I've seen, offspring of mixed Filipino and Russian tends to look sort of Central Asian...and beautiful.
