A one-way card in the Metro Rail Transit, and know what? It just came in time! I was with the long line in the counter when this young man appeared and offering an excess card to a young lady and an elderly woman ahead of me, maybe his date didn't show up so he has no choice but just to give it away. The lady and the elderly woman just starred and ignored him. Seems offended after trying to be generous, he handed me the card and left without saying a word! Thanks above, I'm in a hurry so I left the long line quickly, and most of all, I'm short of money at the time and that card gave me another day! Whoever he is, thanks man! |

a gift card for the vans store about 6 bucks.
i got it while i was in a vans store buying a pair of shoes.
this white older gentleman came up to me which at first was upsetting because i thought he had mistaken me for the salesperson, well because this had happened to me many times in the past.
but then what happened surprised me, he told me if i wanted to have his giftcard which still has about 6 dollars in it. i told him if he was sure, he said yes & then i shook his hand & told him thank you. well that sure haven't happened to me before. |

The most memorable thing I got was a free appendectomy. That was 28 years ago when I had my first child and had to have an emergency c-section. The Ob-gyn was a very old fashioned doctor who believed that as long as he had you opened up, might as well take a look around and get rid of the appendix. |
