Choose the best wrong answer and then in the comments tell everybody that this answer is wrong but it is the best one out of them all. |

To me the best answer is the one that I perceive to be better than the rest. It doesn't have to be "correct": if I already knew the correct answer I wouldn't ask the question to begin with. It is my exclusive privilege to decide in such manner, and I don't think it's unfair to the other answerers.
Assuming no answer stands out, I'll let the question go into voting and allow the community to decide, but I'm not sure if that has happened yet. |

You can divide it up among all of them. You don't have to give one answer the total credit. If you have 5 answers; give each 20 %. |

b. voting |

I would edit my question ( I think this is allowed ) thanking all respondents for their time to answer you question then inform them that you feel that there is no "Best" answer.
Let the question go into voting. When the YA community reads your edited question, they may opt to click on the "NO best answer".
Have a nice day ! |

if there is no correct answer I would love to choose no BA. unfortunately that throws my Q to voting and so an incorrect BA will be chosen anyhow. So I'd rather choose the best among the lot and thank everyone who bothered to answer and probably ask another more specific question. |

delete the question |

You may also opt to extend the expiration of the question to give others the chance to answer and so that you might get a good or best answer. Then after the extended time you can choose. If still there is no good answer, you can either put it into voting or delete the question. |

c) Just delete the question because it did not generate a sensible answer enough for you to feel obliged to give it the 10 points. (I think not voting or not deleting will result in the question to be left up to the YA community for voting and they can vote for their own useless answers to be the best answer ... which is a sad thought for me that's why i delete it) .... i've done it once or twice already. =) |
