No need la - with cheap AirAsia flights (and soon MAS will reduce its air fares due to competition with AirAsia), people won't want to drive long hours across some bridge when they can relax in an airplane being served by lovely air stewards. Furthermore all it takes is 2-3 hours for a flight to East Malaysia from K.L.
The bridge will be a white elephant considering how Malaysia is famous for building something and letting it deterioriate, i.e. no maintenance. |

It will definately be end of Malaysia.
Financially we totally cannot afford that kind of project.
Technically, it is quite not possible unless build underground BUT that wouldn't call bridge, will be call tunnel. |

This is a great idea but it is not practical at all....
We have the biggest, the tallest, etc but this is not going to make it to the top. Look at the equator line and if the government really decides to build a bridge, linking East and West Malaysia, chances is that they have to be prepared for all the season changes... |

wow...that's a great idea.......but,it's kind of crazy i think..it might be build in a distant future........we shouldn't propose this idea to sammy vellu...instead,we should proposed it to the person that will be taking over sammy vellu's seat....but hey,,don't forget,,,the toll charges is going to be extremely high and would burn a hole in your pocket! |
