Most of the times, I feels like the other person wants something after passing a compliment. Its hard to receive a sincere compliment nowadays.

Unless if its coming from my boyfriend, best friends and families, any other compliments are usually "ada udang sebalik batu".

I be shy and blush but the complement makes me give more+++ self confidence.

I usually make joke after they give me a complement.. like if they say "I am pretty" i usually replied.. "i am aware of that since birth, thanks to mom & dad", I make jokes so that the person wouldn't notice i am blushing.

I don't really like people to compliment me because
I will be over the moon and perhaps forget where I stand.

I prefer to hear comment rather than compliment.

I do need that from time to time.

But not compliment..i could loose my head.

for me, what i thinks when suddenly someone give me compliment( friends especially ) maybe there some thing behind it... (mcm ada udang di sebalik batu)
so, try investigate like CSI first why you suddenly get compliment..
or
just smile and take it as a real complement and dont forget to thank's them..

Sincere or not, I always say thank you.
Even if someone say, "Wow! Your skin is glowing" when I have the worst case of breakouts, I'd still say thank you.
But I'll give them a knowing look, "Hah! I know you want something..."
It'll be interesting to see what the person is up to next.

Depends on the contents of the compliments I say thank you or not really, its not that good at all.
