maybe I'll gently explain to him what rain really is..

*anak: nay, bat kumukulog?
nanay: ewan anak
anak: bat umuulan?
nanay:ewan anak
anak: diba nga ngayun yung libing ni Rudy?
nanay: OO anak.

i heard this conversation while in the jeepney, it was just so funny that the only thing that the mom answered was the question a about a dead celebrity.

Because the clouds are full of water droplets so they are falling to the ground and that way the grass, trees and plants can get a drink of water.

hummm.....God gives rain because human and living things need it. I mean, when some questions seems too long to explain, I think reasoning that God made it all happen makes their faith to God stronger as they grow old.

don't say any mumbo jumbo, tell the child straight. They appreciate it.

When they say "where does the water come from" you can tell them that they suck it up off the sea when they travel over it

what I used to do with my children when they were small was try and explain as best I could and if I simply didn't know, I'd admit it and say we'd look it up in a book.

since a kid still does not understand science, simply tell him that the sky is crying, like him when he gets hurt, the sky is crying because of to much sun ^_^ hehehehe

or u can always be the boring teacher and tell the kid the long story of water cycle I'm sure he'll enjoy it *sarcasm*

Two ways to explain the answer:1.Mythologically or 2.scientifically.
Tell him the God is blessing you in form of rain if u use mythological way OR
explain how water is necessary for all the creatures on the earth and is a good sign for atmosphere.Explain him the importance of rain. and let him have the joy to see the raindrops
