I will invoke National Security. The Official Secrets Acts, I will say, forced me to come up with a story like that.

Because, I will further lie, to tell you the whole truth would place a lot of lives in danger.

Of course, I will not tell that foremost of these lives would be my own.

I try NEVER to lie. I do not want to be lied to; so I do not lie to others.
If I were to lie and got caught.....I would probably revert to my true nature and tell the truth. I do not lie for personal gain so..... For me to have lied it must have been very important to protect the person I lied to .....so I would probably try to soften the hurt to that injured person...........

but I would not lie again.....that will only compound the hurt....make things even worse

My first option would be deny it until they believe me..or come out clean, admit that I lied and say sorry..

i try not to lie because one lie can lead to another lie and before i know it, i have already woven too many lies that end up with my hurting people that i care about and fooling no one but myself... as much as i don't want to be lied by, i also do not want to lie to others.

no matter how much i try not to lie though, i have lied in some points in my life and i did that only to protect those that i love but when confronted, i did not try to cover my act but instead, i came out clean. i admitted what i did, explained why i did it then sincerely said sorry.

Sometimes I get tongue-tied, I suffer a short mental block...like a shock or something because I didn't expect to be found out. In some instances, I stammer which lets out the fact that I was lying. And in some other situations, I lie to cover my lie. Whew! what a lie!
