I seriously doubt. Humans have been killing each other for thousands of years over religious reasons, political reasons, money, power, lust, revenge and over the pettiest of matter.

l have been thinking about this question for years. The only conclusion l have is:- GREED.
As long there is GREED, people will want more for themselves which lead us to the quest for POWER.
Look at most leaders in this world whether politician or business.
They got so many billions of dollar but still want more, in order to get more, they start robbing it from others, look at most part in Africa, poor people being kill everyday, so people at the top can have more power to reap and sqeeze more out of a nation that has nothing left to give. And if you stop or unable to give anymore, they kill you. whats wrong with this people? Don't they understand, we come to this world with nothing, we all die the same way, nothing. All the food we eat, no matter what it is, be it lobster or just plain vegetable. We still crab the same way, smell the same. ( hahaha ). Money is just a piece of paper, to me if they want it they can have it, as long as l have enough ffor my family to lead a HAPPY life, that is ample for me.
Man, l can go on for days, really gets to me to see people suffer. really.

Jealousy, revenge, racist, religious extremist, hatred, political reason, killing for fun, killing for self defense, killing for food and the list goes on and on....

Even when world only filled with women, killing still happen.

when we stop seeing differences and see that we are all one species like you said...only humans and nothing else...when everyone agrees to live equally...when political powers take wise decisions for example listen to what wise people that thinks rationally have to say!
