1993 before my first PC.No, I don't use it anymore, word processor does wonder, you can change fonts(size and style), check spelling, jazz up your text with photos and colors fonts. The most important thing is you can carry tons of documents in a flash drive attached to your key chain. Ain't technology wonderful? ;)

we use it at the office whenever we need to accomplish pre printed government forms (like filling the blanks) but we use electric typewriter tho.

I last used a typewriter when I was 8-9 years old learning how to type.
My dad bought me an electronic typwriter I used for practice.

I hated those damn ribbons, even though they came in cassette form.
And how about trying to erase a printed letter with the erase button... my typewriter actually made it worse by making that spot hella dark.

Thank god for Bill Gates.

we still use it in the office for pre-printed forms. its actually very practical because we can save on the computer ink and we can still work even if there is no electricity.

i'd have to say ... probably 25 years ago.. nice unit. .. i might even still have it , ribbons probably dried out by now, and , probably can't get new one.. but somebody might want this thing.. i think i'll look for it and sell it on E-Bay..thanks
