Truth. When you have stopped entertaining possibilities, you miss out on growth potentials not otherwise known to you. |

Why do you ask a question that already
has the answer included?
What's the point to ask this question? |

truth of course...because we grow through taking risks....if we're close minded and afraid to take risks, we will not progress and we'll not attain what we want to attain. |

Truth! of course! A close minded person will not explore the other side of the wall even if he can smell beautiful roses and hear the most amazing melodies and the happiest voices. A closed mind is the wors that can happen to a human being. |

Generally true.
There is only one exception I could think of. I saw this film about a serial killer who did not know he was a serial killer.
The doctors said that he could be theoretically hypnotized to recount the killings, but if they did - he could implode and become a vegetable. Because his id could never reconcile with what it was he had become. In this instance, they had a consensus that its better he had a closed mind, safety in the sanitarium. He would not grow with that knowledge. In fact, he'd die. |

Truth.
When we become close minded, it's as if we refuse to learn or understand the things that we may have prejudices against. And once a person stops learning, he stops growing intellectually, and as a person. |
