Suppose that X is a girl I love, and she loves Y more than me, then should I tell X that I am jealous of her love for Y? YES, if X has a commitment with me. NO, if there was no commitment.
My answer to the second question would be in relation to Y, the man my girl could be loving more than she loves me.
I would definitely make a sturdy stance and prove to him that I am more than meets the eye, because I shall be hitting him repeatedly and close both his eyes! |

Jealousy is a silly thing because if you think something has some sort of advantage over you and you don't like it then you can just change that. I think jealousy is just a form of laziness. If you don't want to be jealous anymore then I say work harder and get to a point where you don't have to be jealous anymore. |

create a sturdy stance to come out strongly and prove that you are more than meets the eye.
Never let on if you are jealous. It makes you appear weak. |

I let the world know that I am jealous. It is but normal to feel that way towards people whom you really care about
and
I also make a move to show the person I am jealous of that I am better than him/her... and show the world (but actually, most of it are for myself) that I have nothing to be jealous of the person I am jealous about... Does that make sense?
Anyway, I really am the jealous type and I want everything that belongs to me, mine alone. Maybe one of the reasons why I don't easily make friends... I don't want to share my friends...
that's me. |

Are you sure it was jealousy? Or disappointment?
You have to know because most people don't realize it.
I'm not the jealous type because I know what fairness is. "Never compare yourself with others for there will always be better and lesser than you". Does that ring a bell? But I'm disappointed from falsehood and pretensions.
Life is too short! Take it or leave it. |

i was never the possessive type in platonic relationships... but im a sore green-eyed monster when it comes to romantic relationships.
I think that would be one of my greatest flaws, im extremely possessive,..Most of the time i'd let him know if i am jealous.

If it matters to me I'll definately tell the person I'm jealous and why I'm Jealous to get it off my chest.
"Envy" and "jealousy" are often used interchangeably, but in correct usage, both words stand for two different distinct emotions. In proper usage, jealousy is the fear of losing something that one possesses to another person (a loved one in the prototypical form), while envy is the pain or frustration caused by another person having something that one does not have oneself. Envy typically involves two people, and jealousy typically involves three people. Envy and jealousy result from different situations and are distinct emotional experiences. [6] Both envy and jealousy are related to schadenfreude, the rejoicing at, or taking joy in, or getting pleasure from the misfortunes of others.[7][8]

Hm...jealousy, huh? I always believe that communication is the key to a good relationship so whenever I need to tell something, I tell it right away but not in a b*tchy way - that's just making you look selfish. Besides, if you don't talk about it, you wouldn't really know the truth. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding.
But if you're talking about envy, I usually convert my envy into admiration - an idol or a model. When being humble and praising them, they get to have a boost in confidence and they might give you some tips to be successful as well. It's a win-win situation. :D |

I never hide my feelings - be it love, animosity, anger or jealousy. I always show it to the other person, that way s/he knows what my feelings are at the moment. I don't want to be a hypocrite and pretend nothing is amiss. Anyway, I am not good at hiding my emotions nor at curtailing my temperament.
I think it is just right to show or tell the other person you're jealous. But don't turn on those claws just yet, not until you hear his explanations or excuses. You can't get an answer if you let loose your temper at once.
Some say jealousy is a form of insecurity while others attest it is just one way of showing your profound love for your loved one. You can take it any way you want, the most important thing is you know what your reasons are for getting jealous. |
