a plate of beehoon goreng or 2 rolls of haw flakes or 5 biji gula gula nenas ; the pineapple flavoured candy wrapped in dark orange wrapper with a white pic of pineapple on it. All these are gone except Haw Flakes. Of all the places, I found this same brand same packing of Haw Flakes in Europe, bringing back the nostalgia of my childhood decades ago. :D :D

i remember that 5sen can buy 1 candy in a jar and 10sen for 3 candys.. 20sen for cloud 9 bar..and the most mahal food i can remember is the conetto ice cream which cost RM1....
ding dang and tora also cost RM1 or maybe 50sen(can't remember since 50sen above is kinda expensive on my time)...which I kumpul my pocket money just to buy those...not because of the candy but the toy you get...hehehe..how come lah I mudah tertipu with the iklan on tv..

though i think im much older than you jedi, it does sound like we are from the same generation. 5 cent is equivalent to one sweet. my favourite is the lime flavour (cant remember the brand) with greenish wrapper. still love it |
