Amazing jungles, beaches, forests, friendly people, really, and I mean REALLY hot food.
I love Thailand. I got really annoyed with some of your posts, people. First of all, it is Cambodia that is getting the rep for child prostitution. Second, the HIV rate in Thai sex workers is LOWER than that of the American population in general.
I used to have a Thai girlfriend and so many people would tell me she was a prostitute because she was Thai. The ignorance of people can be shocking. She is actually a college professor, BTW.
As for the poverty, Thailand is a rich country compared to its neighbors. |
