When you were 15, did you already have plans for your future?

Not only did I have the plans for my future, I had all the answers to any of life's problems too. I was the world's most obstinate child, I think. I surely thought I knew it all. Now that I am 48 and have ended up in a totally different set of plans for my life, I really see what little I knew then. And there is still much I do not know. It would have been a better benefit to me then to have listened a lot better and followed the leadership of my parents and others who were trying to show me a better way. But I would never have even thought that when I was much wiser at age 15. =]

I did not. Nor do I now at 52. You never know what's round the corner.

dave i am
NO... I don't even have plans now... for real

Pointy
None whatsoever, clueless ... All I knew was that I was going to college after high school.

All You Need Is Love =)
Life is what happens, when you are busy making other plans... I thought I had a plan but I changed so much that now I'm 21 and i know that you have a path and guide lines but you have to roll with the punches and keep evolving because if you attach yourself to plans you don't grow. I have and idea of what I'm going to do but plans not even for the next month. I just hope that it will be good. Good Luck with the future kid!

i remember at that time, i wanted to become a pediatrician.. which didn't happen

Edz
No way to busy having fun. I have a plan now though, enjoy life to the full and make every day count!

Leander
Yes, I definitely had a lot of plans but only few of them really happened and it was constantly changing

maej
Yes, I wanted to be a lawyer at that time but...

My life was planned ahead of me, step by step. And little by little, I am fulfilling that plan but life doesn't work as planned.

I have dreams though, dreams that I am very much intent in fulfilling, with God's blessings and I'm working on it!

nang.amie
did I ever.

Macca ♥
No I didn't. I was just getting through each day then, having fun. I bet I'd be in a different place if I had a plan for life then. That being said, I like where I am now. : ) I'm going to help my kids plan more for their future.

No plans yet.

Barely 14 when my mother died, at 15 am still coping, not yet moving on, just surviving. How can I have plans for the future when the death of my inay was not even sinking into my brain?

Mr. Brightside
yes i have. i'm a visionary. i knew then i'd be a nurse and earn money for my parents. maybe that's a problem of our generation--we tend to be practical and materialistic. just look at all the nurses who can't wait to lay their hands on money money and more money. (how many nursing students want to help people anyway?)

my aunt told me that when she was my age, she wanted to be a physician to help the people. just look at the difference.

i think planning ahead is not bad. but always remember, do what will really make you happy. you're the one controlling your future. good luck on your life!

ambitions and dreams

I.R.M.
I did not have plans then, but I had big dreams for the future even while I was much younger.

In fact even now, I still do not have real plans. I realize I need a roadmap, and that I should be flexible enough to adjust. That way, I am able to manage my "happiness" better.

toshi
Yes, I remember I have a lot of plans for the future, which school to go to, what course to take, etc.. but it all boils down to parent's deciding things for me. argh!

Bitter Guy
Yes. When I was 15, I was always planning to save money and buy super NES games.
