Haha ! You cannot simply buy an elephant and keep it as a pet in Singapore . Its a no-no in Singapore . In the ey of the law , even dogs like huskies or labradors can only be kept as a pet if the owners live in landed properties like terrace or bungalows . I don't think the government would allow people who live in Singapore to keep elephants as pets .

You can buy from little india or other tourist places. Many types and many sizes. You can keep them as pets or as a display. very nice looking too.

African or Indian?

The elephants are for sale on Elephant Street.
On the far west end are the Indian elephants.
They are the cheapest because the destination charges are lower as India is closer to Singapore than Africa.
You can get a male if you want but the females make better pets.

Not possibly to buy a real life elephant in Singapore.
Why not buy a pussy instead. There are lots of different breed from all over the world. The popular ones are from China.
Go to Geylang Road to know more.
