Singapore also did not sign the United Nations Human Rights Treaty. Singapore uses death sentences and the cane to "punish" the prisoners. Singapore speaks Singlish. What more do you want to know.

Don't be ridiculous. I'm not sure if you're serious or not, but by asking this question, you're showing your ignorance. Singapore is a fully independent country in Southeast Asia, bordering Malaysia. It was previously ruled by the British befiore WW2 and the Japanese during WW2. We gained independence on 9th Augst 1965.

Singapore is a city, a state and a country all on its own. It's what you'll call a city-state. We're so tiny we need no capital, unless you're referring to the CBD.

English is the official language of administration in Singapore, but Malay is the national language, because Malays are native to Singapore. However, in most of Singapore, English and Chinese are the most commonly spoken languages. Almost everybody can speak English, including the Indians and the Malays.

recommend that you look at a map of the world to find out where S'pore is. it is NOT in China. It is an independent State; a sort of city-state, self-contained as a very prosperous island. it is among the fastest growing economies of the world. it used to be part of the erstwhile British Empire - so English continues to be a commonly spoken language there.
