Aha - a choice between Jolly St Nick and the Penguins!!!
I think I'd be a bi-polar (not in the psycho sense) - more like divide my time equally between prancing with the elves and dancing with the happy feet. |

I think the equator would be better than both poles.
Some tropical island we all talk about is near the equator. A wonderful place called the Philippines. That would be a better place to live. |

north pole because Santa lives there and there is no land there so you can cut a hole in your floor and fish for your meals |

South, the northern pole is actually melting fast, and since its only ice with no land mass beneath it, I would rather be on land, hence the south pole. Besides the north pole has polar bears, they are beautiful but I don't want to be eaten by a 9 foot tall bear. That and those pesky flying reindeer pulling that sleigh. |

The North Pole. Santa lives there, silly! |

North Pole, which to date, has not LOST ITS OZONE LAYER, which is vital to protect humans from solar and cosmic rays. Nor is the North Pole as cold as the South Pole, and although the South has the Penguins, the North has the Aurora Borealis which is more spectacular than the Aurora Australis.. |

Any, I love the auroras. :] |

Well...there's no land at the North Pole, so I'd have to go with the South Pole. |

Given just those choices, I'd pick South pole. when the ice melts, I don't want to swim. |

both. i would love to see either the northern (aurora borealis) or southern (aurora surealis) lights. |

Neither,
North Pole: -50 deg celcius plus polar bear.
South Pole: -50 deg celcius (summer time)
-90 to -100 deg celcius(winter time)
I used to work for a Calgary based company that operates airplanes in these places flying mostly on scientific missions. I've heard personal accounts of our guys who've been there. Definitely not the places you would want to live in. But the sceneries are really amazing... Smelling the possibility of me being sent there on a mission, I hurriedly handed my letter of resignation and walk away!
I'd stay here in Calgary. |

The north pole, because it is somewhat warmer, has some animals and people, and because Santa lives there. |

Oh the south pole of course.
Because that’s where santa’s southern cousin bubba Claus lives. Yea I know no one really talks about him, and santa gets all the glory. But did you really think there is just one Claus that delivers all the toys to all the boys and girls on the planet? Now granted you have to get use to the hound dog sled team and Buba yelling YEEHAAA and Get goin’ doggies rather than Ho Ho Ho and On dancer On Prancer, etc.
Of course the other reason Buba doesn’t get talked about to much is he likes to add a little “kick” to the milk and cookies the kids leave by putting in a little Jack Daniels. So after a few time zones the presents and which houses they are suppose to go to get a little mixed up. (now you know why you got those really strange gifts rather than what you wanted growing up.)
But once you understand how Bubba Claus is and get past his, shall we say, eccentricities he really is a lot more fun.
So my vote between north and south poles is South pole.
Now if you also allowed for the four points on a compass and allow east and west to be included my pick would be east staying with Hong Claus. Now that’s a girl that knows how to throw a party during the off-season. (What? You didn’t know there was a female Claus? Not to mention a good-looking female Claus at that.)

The south pole because there is a community of scientists there and you can stay warm. The north pole is barren. |

The south pole. The north pole has polar bears that will try to eat you. |

It is neither north or south pole because my best place to live is my only country, the Philippines, my homeland, which is located in the equator. |
