Milk comes goats and cows. The calcium comes from limestone that washes of the mountains and into the grass. Then they milk the goats and cows, heat it, and pasteurize it.

In the USA, we have dairy farms where cows are milked twice a day. A big tanker comes and takes the milk away to the processed and ultimately sent to grocery stores, etc. When I was a child, we lived on a small farm where we had all kinds of animals, including about 12 cows that we milked with milking machines twice a day. We had a machine that separated the milk from the cream. We used some of the milk and cream--made butter out of the cream. The rest of the cream was sold to a creamery and the milk was fed to the calves and pigs. That doesn't happen much any more.
