If you're after the parties & nightlife Boracay is the place to go but not much snorkelling can be done there compared to other beaches my husband & I have been to like in Bohol & Palawan. Cebu is also nice but for a nature lover like me who enjoys something peaceful, relaxing under the sun thing + swimming with the fishes...Palawan is the best!

the 800 mtrs of clean sand, turquoise water and coral surrounding Club Paradise island on the north side of Busuanga. have a look at www.clubparadisepalawan.com . There is not another resort for 35 miles in either direction, it's pristine, and the wildlife is great, they even have a herd of Calamian deer living wild on the island!!!!!

you can visit puerto galera! white sand! like sugar! very clear water. it is located in Mindoro! few hours drive from manila to batangas, then 1 hour boat ride going to galera!

try going to boracay if you want a night life as well.. another suggestion is to coron, palawan. excellent corals, clear water, white sand beach.. i've never been to el nido (also in palawan) but seeing the post cards, it seems like a paradise. hopefully, i can go there somethere..

A lot of beaches in Ph..from North to South.. but I highly recommend Panglao Is. in Bohol or Beaches in Palawan and Davao very accessible. I just went To Bohol last month..my second time around. I toured an Irish friend and he was glad to reach the place..

philippines is a coastal country, anywhere in country , there is beaches, even in cavite area, but if you prefer to travel and go to the finest beaches in the phil. try palawan , or boracay even in bohol or in the visayan region, i heard beaches in mindanao are good too, but beware, on the rural areas in mindanao

If you are under 30 and like to party all night ? Boracay. If your older like me plus 40, and want a nice romantic spot, I suggest Marbuena Island resort in Ajuy Iloilo. Good food, beautiful sunsets and beaches as well. No where near Boracay costs. It's for us older crowd. Don't bother looking on the net. It's not there :). It's a well kept secret with the locals that can afford it.
