Where is the best place to go in Thailand for sunshine in mid-may to early june?

I think Ko Samui, not Phuket because in May and June there is hot season and always rain.

I've been to Pattaya and have to say it was a real eye opener! Very much aimed at the tourist but great if you're a "people watcher".

Pataya is more for gogo bars then anything and other then that touristy... so explain what you are looking for

My dad lives in Thailand and suggests Phuket. He says it is lovely and they still need the money from the tourist industry to rebuild parts after the Tsunami.

south of thailand if you looking for beaches sea and sun go to: koh samui, phuket, krabi.

if u looking for girls night life and fun go to pattaya.

Plenty of places to go. Just to abit of research. To name some are Hua Hin, Pattaya, Samet Is, Chang Is, Phuket, Samui and Krabi

I have been to Thailand a lot....... I do not think there is anyplace to AVOID sunshine, especially in May and June. I think you will have a great time.

i was there in early june last year and i went to phuket, and the phi phi islands. it wasnt that sunny the whole time but we did have some good weather. the best of the weather was when we were in bangkok tho. if i went back i would go for longer and spend more time in both phuket and bangkok. there is so much to do in bangkok that i missed out on and the islands were so beautiful that i wish i could have stayed! have an awesome time as im sure you will and hope the sun shines for you!
