University of the Philippines (Diliman campus) --- It's the premiere state university. World class education at Public School tuition fees.

Then again, affordabilty is relative so for those with money to burn, Ateneo, La Salle and University of Asia and the Pacific are excellent schools as well...

I think it's UP because they have a very high passing rate during board exams. Imagine 99% passing rate on medicine board exam! well, it also depends on what course you like. For example you want dentistry then try UE.

The university being discussed is the University of the Philippines, Diliman Campus. UP has several campuses and Diliman is where the cream of the crop is congregated...

Its sense of affordability is debatable, if you are from a middle class family... you might be pushed to costs the same as the richer class. However, if you are really after the quality education, UP has no rival. Besides, you can get scholarships if you really deserve to be there.

If you are considering high schools... then there is Manila Science High School, Philippine Science High School, Quezon City Science High School... and much more...

University of the Philippines, Manila and Diliman Campus. And best of all about the UP system, you can cross enrol at other UP Campuses all the over the Philippines....like UP Baguio or Los Banos.

You don't have to think twice. It's definitely the University of the Philippines. Excellent world-class education at very low rates. Plus the awesome campus, well-rounded student activities and the respect of the rest of the country. This is the only choice. Go for it!
