though japan seems to be a perfect place for me (lots of anime and i simply love anime, and the man of my dreams is there too, and lots of super modern gadgets and very low rate of money) i'd still choose to live in the philippines. by the way, i'm a fil. |

I love Japan's "Gioza" so I would go there and live temporarily but I will always go back home to Philippines. It's quite fascinating place for a local girl like me, maybe because half of my life I 've been working abroad and everytime my contract finished, I can't help but cry when I started to count down my going home...Everything is there, yeah right? typhoons, floods, black outs, snatchers, bank robbers every voting season, but hey! there's Boracay, Baguio, Bicol, Bohol, Batangas and that's just for B alphabet...and don't forget SM. I don't think I will name them, so many...Sorry I got carried away, I am far away from the Phil. again so I kinda missed my jeepney rides when I run out of "taxi fares". |

Japan is too crowded, but I'd try both sometime in my life if it were a possibility. They both sound awesome!
I favor Japan more. |

Japan because I studied the language in college. Their customs facinate me and I have a couple of friends there now. Plus, every other week it seems the Phillipines are getting hit with a typhoon. |

It will depend if I could afford Japan... never been there but I heard cost of living is high... But retirement wise, it would be the Philippines.. winter might not help the arthritis... |

Japan! Without a doubt. Between the geishas, the different unique districts, and Tokyo, how could you go wrong? |

I'd go to japan for tourism. However, if I have a job in Japan, I would live there. I won't die there though for Japan is not my native land. |

Well if I had to pick between the two I would live in Japan. |

Philippines as the girls are sexier and the beaches are better and the hospitality of Filipinos is far better than Japan |

Well, I live in Japan (-:. It's a beautiful country, and they've got beautiful traditions and customs. It's got it's minuses, but basically, it's clean, polite and first world.
Philippines, too, I heard has much beauty, great cultures, and it's WARM! But, I would worry about the political climate.
)-: Considering the North Korean situation, though, maybe I should worry about the political climate in Japan, too.
Tough choice! |
