Public bank and Maybank

Maybank is the worst! coz they charge lots of ridiculous charges. Example if you use ATM machine to withdraw money for more than trice, you will charge 50 sen for the next time. If you want to pay ptptn/MARA via on line you will charge 1.00, yet other banks charge only 50 sen. if make payment of salaries for your employee by Maybank, you will charge RM10.00 per employee. for every bank statement that you required, it will be charge RM5.00. so do you think Maybank is the best?

UOB-the staffs provide good service, a staff even sacrificed her an hour or so on a Sunday to meet up with my parents coz they were too busy to go personally to the bank. once, the staff even waited for me to collect my card after work, which is obviously after her working hours as well

Maybank is the worst bank i've been to, bad customer service

Eon Bank is alright.

CIMB is a bit lacking in customer service.

I just opened a Maybank account recently, and what dya knw...during registration, they said I've already registered and that my hubby was working in one of the bank's branches. Their system is so trustworthy...not.

I've also heard from several colleagues and friends that Maybank tends to deny when RM50 randomly disappears from their account holders. A rather widespread story, and funny that I've only heard from Maybank-ers.

na na cant believe anyone of the bank.. v better get insured by ourself coz not robbers rob money but nowdayz bank are.. this is true happen in malaysia... their best frend is ah longssssssss... so carreful buddies

My hubby sings praises of UOB. Excellent & efficient customer service.

Other worthy one is Citibank.

Local banks are the worst. Often, the ATMs, cheq/cash deposit machines are either offline or not working!! (Happened many times with AmBank & EON Bank)

You asked which bank in Malaysia - so it's open for all banks I assumed that have operation here.

In terms of trust - all banks are trustworthy cause our Bank Negara quite stringent in terms of ensuring that banks comply to guidelines.

However, if I were to choose for service I'll go for Citibank for foreign bank and ex-Southern Bank Direct Access for local one. Really courteous and no matter how annoying and absurd the question it may be I can still feel the welcoming voice.

The no no category I awarded it to HSBC for it's unfriendliness - the customer service reps are so stuck up and at times rude (even Eon Bank is better). Local one so far I think it will be Maybank. I think they are too proud and doesn't give a D**N to walk in customer who wears worn house clothes even though the customer may be loaded with cash in the pocket. EWE... look down syndrome.

Anyway , local Malaysian Bank.. I will pick Public Bank for trustworthiness. Strong and low non- performing loan which means lowest risk to go bankrupt.

Maybank, definitely. It has never failed me as of yet. I have had repeated bad experiences with RHB. CIMB and Public are OK too, but Maybank is my choice.
