Which car would you rather buy Kia Spectra or Proton waja?

You buy a Kia and you'll die trying to sell it... Proton cars generally are better at resale values, no matter how OLD they are.

A 2yr old Kia Spectra costs RM 30k. Just imagine. A 2yr Proton Waja costs RM 45k. U decide. If u don't know what to do with your money, i would suggest u give some to "No Money" in Yahoo Q&A.

In your case i ll advised you to get Kia Spectra.
The new waja, they have done a lot of adjustment that me the quality poor.
for start, they have change the engine mounting and engine into campro engine wish use more petrol and the current supplier for the material is getting poorer.
The old waja is much better and can compare with sprectra.
infact both are now so good car, they both are like abang-adik

Both of them are equally bad, one of them has low resale value and the other has low quality parts and to sum it up both models are already coming to 10 years...

I will go for proton waja, especially the "special edition" one. I heard many bad things about Kia Spectra, but I'm not sure either it's true or not.

Not sure about Kia Spectra, I'm currently driving a Proton Waja and I'm already having problems when the car is still new. The steering rod makes a gurgling sound each time I make a turning. One side of the headlights doesn't work and it's not the bulb. Had to rewire the whole thing. The fitting of the window and door is also not satisfactory. I heard that not all Wajas are like that, and the problems for each car is unique. LOL. Others I heard is the car handle coming off.

However, the air-cond is good and it has good pick-up power.

Proton Waja. There is nothing special about the Kia Spectra, it is just an ordinary sedan. Although the Proton Waja might not be any greater, but i would choose it over the Kia.

Both car are not good. Kia, not fuel economic and I don't trust Korean car, not quite good quality actually. Korean cars always pass the safety test with a "bad".

Proton waja, at least you can take it back to the factory if anything goes wrong... My friend got another proton waja for free after he found some problem in his proton wira which he bought for 2 weeks only.
