The sunset. It marks the end of a day and could even be more beautiful if seen in its entirely with the placid sea in the foreground.

I don't know but whenever I get the chance to see a beautiful sunset, I always feel so forlorn - so sad, as if the setting of a sun symbolizes the end of something important in my life.

sunrise... it reminds me that GOD has given me another chance to prove my worth and change my life... even though we experience pain, the sunrise symbolizes hope.... c^^,)

Definitely the sunset when the sky is kind of reddish-pink with a hint of blue, as the breeze blows past your hair, separating each strand. Ahh, So wonderful :)

Even better if they're dashed with a few sprinkles of rain.

afternoon sunset on a weekday because well... the day's finally over!

morning sunrise on a weekend because it's just pretty and I know I don't have to do anything that day.

Sunset simply because i haven't seen sunrise in its fullest.

sunset is magnificent its like the sun's way of promising that he will leave for awhile but will surely be back.

Geographically, the sunrise of course! I see that everyday before I go to school. I live in a peninsula btw but don't see the sunset because of mountains.

Sunrise symbolizes a new day and new opportunities for me!

i love the afternoon sunset. that's because i'm more of a night person. I don't wake early enough to see the sunrise. :)

Sunrise. I find sunsets sad.

The sunset every time. Why? Sometimes it means to me if i've had a bad day i know it's over at last and a new day will start tomorrow, but if i've had a good day, i can be happy in my heart it ended well, and the sun setting mean to me it will bring me a promise and hope of another good day. I've seen lots of sunsets around the world but the best ones are always in the Philippines.

The morning sunrise - I feel like a new day is coming up (figuratively). The beginning of something is more often easy to look forward to in contrast to "the end of" something.

Besides the a sun rising is a perfect excuse to grab a cup of coffee. (mmmmmmm...)

Morning sunrise, for sure. I always took it for granted up until now.

I was late for work and my bus never showed up. My cell phone died and I was miles from home. It was really dark and I didn't know my way without a bus. And add onto all that, it was starting to rain and I was wearing my very expensive business suit. I was ranting and raving and yelling and kicking innocent cans.

Then the rain stopped. I looked up just in time to see the sun begin to rise.

It was such a strange feeling. To have been so warped that we forget that everything is so insignificant. That no matter what was happening to me, the sun would still appear to rise as the earth continues to rotate...I don't think I've ever just sat and watched it rise in the crisp morning air in the near-absolute silence.

^__^ You have my input, I vote sunrise!

Laden with happiness and tears.♫♪♫
