China first, India maybe after China if it can solve all the problems that have plagued it. Ex. 25% population below poverty line.
Comparisons:
China
Economy: $7 trillion
GDP per Capita: Somewhere around $5000/a
India
Economy: $2 trillion
GPD per Capita: somewhere around $2000/a |

I would say that China is in much better shape than India. India is growing, but the average citizen is quite poor. The Chinese are seeing improvements in quality of life along with their economic growth. India needs population control, because they will surpass China's population, but India is a lot smaller than China. |

China, in terms of time, because it is generally a corrupt/crime free country, and its economy looks more promising than India, but India is also growing fast. You can tell by looking at their infrastructure and quality of life. |

India will be stronger, in terms of population and quality of life, but at the moment quality of life in both is relitivly low, compared to USA or UK, but china has a greater population |

I think China is stronger than India for the foreseeable future, in military and economic terms. However, more important, I believe the average Chinese enjoys a better "quality of life" than their Indian counterpart.
However, on individual freedom and democratic liberties, India is light year ahead of China.
The 20th century was the US century, and I would dare predict that the 21th century will belong to the Asians. |
