I have had the pleasure of trying both in New Orleans. And the winner is...I'd have to say frog legs because it tastes very much like chicken. Must be that special Cajun seasoning. Hot!!!
There's something about its greenish/brownish color that makes turtle soup unpalatable to me. Here in the States it's more popularly known as snapper soup. Those who have tried the Chinese version would probably say it's more delicious than our local Creole version. |

i had fried frogs before it was good. i enjoyed eating it. but i haven't tried turtle soup..
i think i would still go for frog's legs. i have sympathy for teenage mutant ninja turtles. |

Turtle soup with dried mushroom strings served in turtle back is superb.
But frog's leg is perfect too. Fried with dried red hot chili!
